Whips come in many styles and sizes, and have been used for many
years by cultures all over the world. Some were for sport, others
were for beast control, some groups used them in ceremony, and still
others were used as a form of stature. But no matter the purpose,
whips took on a form all of their own. A form of art and cultural
expression.
Still, there are two main forms of whips. That of
the straight out whips such as the buggy whip, and lash
whips such as the bull whip (Whips and Whipmaking SE by David W. Morgan).
Today there is little need for the use of whips, but many people
still use and collect them. There are, however, a few who still harbor
a love for whips and still find uses for them.
Our whips are
designed to be creative and unique, but are still fashioned using
many of the old styles of plaiting and weaving.
